Jiang Yi-Fan has spent 20 years in his Puli workshop, hand-throwing and wood-firing ceramic teaware. He came to clay via woodworking, and to teaware via a deep, almost obsessive love of drinking tea.
"A good teapot doesn't show off," he told us. "It gets out of the way and lets the tea speak." It's a philosophy that resonates — and explains why his pieces sell out every time.
